Destiny Lane. A private road I have called home for about five years now. This is where I have hung my hat, the place I call home, my sanctuary, my castle.
Destiny Lane is situated on once wooded area and farmland. The ground is mostly sandy, making it almost impossible not to track into the house or car. The area for the most part is quiet, with the sound of a car every now and then, zooming down the road.
I like it here. It is comfortable to me, even though it may seem I never get the chance to kick up my feet and do nothing. The house is in constant repair; the rooms were never finished.
There has always been much struggling to keep the Destiny Lane dynasty from collapse and ruin. There were horrific battles, short-lived yet sweet eras of peace. And then there were the risque’ encounters and provocative scheming. All in the name of keeping the lane from certain destruction.
Rental properties were added to the property, an idea that I fought wholeheartedly. I knew nothing about fixing a loose door, unclogging a sink, quieting a rattling air conditioner. However, the property proved to be worth the effort in that it provided the income that just kept out heads above water during the dark year of 2009.
I welcome you to my personal site. Here is where I will add projects that I would like to share. I hope you like. I hope you get something out of it, if not a means to waste your precious time!
